"High - rise in price is 8.10% or 05.07 USD, due to the holidays, the price situation is different now, mainly the prices returned to their previous level - 45-60 USD per kilogram of pork, depending on the type of meat, beef by 10 percent %, beef by as much cheaper, "- says Kolesnik.

But if the meat has fallen in price is not much, the fat is rapidly becoming cheaper: from Rs 30-32 per kg it dropped to 18-20, and even at the periphery of 10-12. Director informkompanii "ProAgro" Nicholas Vernitsky explains the seasonal decline in demand for high-calorie product. Meat, he predicted, is unlikely to be cheaper, faster even add 2-3 UAH until July until spring piglets grow up in private backyards and begin their mass slaughter, as 50% of pork in the country give the villagers.

Experts explain low prices for pork in supermarkets that many networks now buy directly from carcass and cut up meat processing plants in the shops at stores. But the meat is vacuum-packed from the manufacturer at 5-6 USD more expensive than in bulk, but with a guarantee of quality life: a number of companies supplying packaging indicator which changes color if the product has started to deteriorate.
