11.8 billion rubles to support the farmers due to increased cost of purchased feed

September 23 at a meeting of the Government of Russian Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Fyodorov, introduced a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation on the distribution between the regions of 11.8 billion rubles.

These funds are intended for payments to producers of pork, poultry meat and eggs to compensate for the costs of the rising costs of purchased feed and ensure the financial stability of the farmers.

As the head of the federal agriculture department, a new measure of state support of agricultural producers is caused by an acute necessity. In the second half of 2012 and the first half of 2013 a difficult situation with the prices of food, along with a significant (around 28-30%) reduction in the purchase prices for the products of pig, poultry and egg production has led to negative profitability in livestock production.

According to the adopted at a meeting of the Government of the Russian order to support the production of eggs will be sent 2 billion 291.3 million rubles, poultry - 3 billion 837 million rubles, and the pork - 5 billion 671.7 million rubles.
