Myasoproizvodstva growth in Ukraine will reduce imports and increase exports of meat

Meat production in Ukraine in 2013 increased by 9.3% or 2.3 million tonnes.

This was during the All-Ukrainian Agricultural Forum Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk , the correspondent of MFN .

« Today Ukrainian farmers have increased since the beginning of this year, production of meat by 9.3 %. Provision of meat increases. This allows you to gradually replace imports , "- said Mr. Prysyazhnyuk .

According to the official , these figures help to increase the volume of Ukrainian exports of meat by 62 % to 109,000 tons. Currently, over 61% of Ukrainian meat produced on modern livestock and poultry farms , the minister said .
