Russia will continue in 2014, quotas on meat imports

The Russian government has approved the allocation of tariff quotas for imports of meat into the country in 2014, established the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The quota for the import of chilled beef is 40,000 tons , including 29,000 tons for the EU provided 11 million tons - to other countries .

pork import quota for all countries - 400 thousand tons, 30 thousand tons are pork trimming (cropping ) . The quota for the import of poultry meat is 364 thousand tons. In this volume includes 100 000 tonnes of frozen boneless chicken meat ( boned ), of which 80 000 tonnes to the EU , and 20 thousand tons - to other countries. Another 14,000 tons - is a quota on the import of turkey meat .
