sveden6iyam Russian Ministry of Agriculture (with reference to the Federal Customs Service ) , from 1 January 2014 in Russia were delivered 49.7 tons of imported beef (64.8 % compared to 2013). Imported pork on the Russian market was supplied 64.1 thousand tons ( 19.8% less than last year ) . Delivery of poultry decreased to 45.3 thousand tons ( 27,1%).

USDA reports that in January 2014 the country's 8.3 % increase in livestock and poultry production to 0.9 million tons. Including production of pigs was increased by 16.3 % and amounted to 200.2 thousand tons of poultry meat produced 391.5 thousand tons, which is 3.3 % more than in January 2013 . However , cattle enterprises in Russia produced 65.8 thousand tons, accounting for 93.2 % of the level in 2013 .
