Russia banned pork imports from all EU countries seven weeks ago , after a wild boar on the Polish- Lithuanian border found swine flu. However, negotiations have stalled mainly because of the political situation in Ukraine .

- In my opinion, it would be difficult to conclude the contract due to the current political tensions between the EU and Russia . If the cause of the crisis was only the swine flu , we would by now have found a solution - says Henriksen .
