АННОТАЦИЯ: В первой части статьи рассмотрены вопросы организации и проведения оптовых сельскохо­ зяйственных ярмарок в России. Кроме этого, проанализированы особенности развития товарной биржевой торговли. Исследуемый временной период, в котором происходили указанные процессы, охватывает средние века и последующие столетия, включая начало ХХ века. Статья подготовлена в рамках выполнения темы НИР FNEN­2019­0005 государственного задания ФГБНУ «ФНЦ пищевых систем им. В.М. Горбатова» РАН.

Abstract. The first part of the article describes the organizational issues of the agricultural trade fairs in Russia. Furthermore, it analyzes the developmental characteristics of commodity exchange. The research period, in which the processes occurred, covers the Middle Ages and the succeeding centuries, including the beginning of the twentieth century. The article was prepared within the framework of the state assignment FNEN­2019­0005 of the V.M. Gorbatov Research Center for Food Systems.
