Abstract. The past year 2022 has put business in conditions that owners and managers of enterprises have not known in 30 years of a market economy. How did the meat industry survive a difficult year in all respects and what will the coming 2023 be like? These issues became the subject of expert assessments and an interested discussion of industry representatives at the First Meat Symposium. The symposium was organized by the research company NTech together with the group of companies VIK and AD LIBITUM.
