Regional development of Russian meat processing enterprises and food security.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the main directions of regional development of meat processing enterprises in modern conditions. Estimates of the production and consumption of certain types of meat and meat products by districts of the Russian Federation are given, the influence of economic, social, technological and climatic factors of regional development on the efficiency of meat processing enterprises is emphasized.
