Changes on the «economic front». DPR: an experience of reintegration of the particular branch.

Authors: Anatoly Kubishko

Abstract. Part of the Donetsk People's Republic (TNR) is still under occupation, but already economic, political, and social reintegration into Russia is underway in the liberated territories. To find out how this process is going in the meat sector, the editorial board sent a request to the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Policy and Food of the Republic. We publish the received response signed by the heads of the food industry development and public relations departments Elena Beletskaya and Olga Lahtikova in the form of an absentee interview. Meat processing enterprises of the Donetsk People's Republic have been operating in the legal field of Ukraine for a long time (from 1992 to 2014). Technical regulation, the market, the banking system, economic relations — all this was common, was part of a single economic mechanism. In 2014, the war severed all these ties. What was the most difficult thing in the process of adapting to the new political realities?
