In Bryansk at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission to address issues that relate to conduct in 2014 , the seasonal agricultural work , Russian Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov said that the rules will be tightened . Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert , who spoke at the meeting, gave an example who testified that from one region with a solid agro in which there was a suspicion of ASF virus , 800 pigs were taken to a neighboring region and implemented them there under the guise of farm products . Sergei Dankvert also believes that it is necessary to introduce a very serious restrictions on the issue of moving animals between regions. According to Nikolai Fyodorov , the question of competence in the field of epizootic environment must change. However, the minister did not mention how. According to him , the issue of epizootic diseases, including by ASF virus - is a matter of national security. Nikolai Fyodorov said that out of it and we must proceed , and to have this theme in mind. "At this point you need to be responsible for that subject to liability , but in another way to cope with the ASF will not work , as well as with other diseases" - the minister added .
