Published lists of the standards required for the application of technical regulations for meat products TC

July 3, 2014 in the territory of the Customs Union will act lists the standards necessary for the application of technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of meat and meat products" (TR TC 034/2013).

In particular, there are two lists:

  1. list of standards as a result of which, on a voluntary basis, compliance with technical regulations for meat products;
  2. list of standards containing rules and methods of investigations and measurements, including the rules of sampling required for the application and enforcement of the requirements of "meat" of technical regulations and conformity assessment of the meat products.

    Both documents were approved by the decision of the 81st Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, adopted on 26 May this year in a working session and published June 3.

    list of "voluntary" standards consists of 138 positions. Among them: the national standards of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and three interstate standards PCT Kazakh SSR (meat and offal of antelope, blood sausage and headcheese).

    list of standards with tests includes 132 positions. Among them: GOST RK GOST R, STB GOST, GOST R ISO and other standards for meat and meat products.

    worth noting that this is not just a list of standards. All standards in the List elements are grouped by technical regulations. For example, applications of technical regulations 1 and 2 (microbiological safety standards slaughter products, meat products and canned) standards are:

    • acceptance rules and methods of test animals rendered fats;
    • sampling canned food products;
    • acceptance rules and methods of sampling and sausage products from lamb, pork, beef and other types of slaughter animals and birds;
    • method for determining industrial sterilization of canned food, etc.

      Recall, May 26, were also adopted lists of standards required for the application of technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of milk and dairy products" (TR TC 033/2013). Their action will begin June 26.
