By the end of 2013 there were imported of frozen meat and offal of 6.24 billion dollars. In real terms, imports gradually decreases. In particular, over the last year meat imports decreased by 6,1%.

From Russia exported 55.2 thousand total. tons of frozen meat and poultry, of which 53.7 thousand. tons accounted for poultry and 1.52 thousand. tons - animals.

By the end of 2013 67% of livestock and poultry produced by agricultural organizations, 30% - of the population farms, and only 3% - farms and individual entrepreneurs.
