АННОТАЦИЯ: В статье описываются подходы к определению продовольственной безопасности нашей страны, анализируются политика её обеспечения и процессы импортозамещения на продовольственном рынке. Представлены данные о странах мира по проценту населения, страдающего от голода, глобальный индекс продовольственной безопасности, динамика импортных поставок и деловой активности в Российской Федерации. Предлагаются направления модернизации материально­технической базы предприятий мясной индустрии.

Import substitution processes and food security in the Russian Federation

Abstract. The article describes approaches to determining the food security of our country, analyzes the policy of its provision and the processes of import substitution in the food market. Data on the countries of the world by the percentage of the population suffering from hunger, the global food security index, the dynamics of import supplies and business activity in the Russian Federation are presented. Directions for the modernization of the material and technical base of meat industry enterprises are proposed.
