АННОТАЦИЯ: В статье показана значимость мяса и мясопродуктов для населения страны, обращено внимание на наличие дефицита говядины в России. Уделено внимание особой значимости кормовых ресурсов с целью увеличения объемов производства мяса всех видов и рассмотрено состояние его производства. Приведены сложившиеся в нашей стране цены на основные виды мяса; изложены меры, принятые правительством для улучшения финансового состояния граждан. Обращено внимание на низкий уровень механизации и автоматизации производственного про­ цесса на отечественных мясоперерабатывающих предприятиях, обоснована необходимость увеличения их числа.

Food security of Russia and small and medium-sized enterprises in the meat industry

Abstract. The article shows the importance of meat and meat products for the population of the country, draws attention to the presence of a shortage of beef in Russia. Attention is paid to the special importance of feed resources in order to increase the production of meat of all types and the state of its production is considered. The prices of the main types of meat that have developed in our country are given; the measures taken by the government to improve the financial condition of citizens are outlined. Attention is drawn to the low level of mechanization and automation of the production process at domestic meat processing enterprises, the need to increase their number is justified.
