In China, 11 companies are ready to supply pork in Khabarovsk region, in the province but no checkpoint for transportation of such goods. The closest is in Primorye, the rest - in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg.

FAS start checking the meat industry associations due to rising prices of meat in Russia

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has today (10/31/2014) started checking sectoral associations in Russia, uniting producers of meat and meat products.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Justice, and Rospotrebnadzor Rosselkhoznadzor together with branch unions (associations) to work with the Eurasian Economic Commission, the exclusion of the final (processed) food products from the list of goods subject to veterinary control.
